A long weekend in Nice, France
The winners, Mr & Mrs W from Essex sent us an email on their return...
Well we are back, unfortunately! We had an absolutely wonderful time at Clos St Paul. Beatrice was very welcoming and friendly and speaks excellent English. Her house and garden are beautiful and the room (Tropique) was charming. There was plenty of choice at breakfast-fresh fruit, yogurts, bread, jam, French pastries, juice, tea, coffee and not forgetting a gorgeous homemade apple cake one morning!
We visited Nice on Friday and had a lovely day there doing lots of walking and taking advantage of the sunshine by having lunch outside. We went to St Paul de Vence on Saturday which, as you may know, is fantastic.
For all our journeys we used the local bus service which was always on time and only cost 1 euro per journey however far!
On Valentines Day we had dinner in Colle sur Loupe at Auberge Provencal which was really lovely.![]()
Once again thank you so much for a wonderful time and introducing us to the South of France where we definitely intend to return, and it goes without saying that we would use restezenfrance at the earliest opportunity.
As a special promotional offer we ran a competition to win a Valentine weekend for two to Nice in the South of France, in the region of Provence. The lucky winners spent 3 nights and 4 days staying at Le Clos de Saint Paul bed and breakfast that is just outside Nice between the villages of La Colle sur Loup and Saint Paul de Vence. Details of this delightful bed and breakfast can be found on Beatrice’s website http://www.stpaulweb.com/closstpaul and it can also be found on this website under bed and breakfast accommodation in Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur.
